haiz. kept thinking of my 585 bucks today.
feeling the pain of losing my own hard earned money!

i'm now at my sch's library blogging, while waiting for my proj to be wire binded.
in the afternoon, i went to watch night at the museum 2 at jam factory with joey n jessica. i prefer the 1st one though. cos it's like.. i kinda anticipated what was gonna happen. n partly, it's becos my focus wasn't really on the show, my thoughts got distracted by my 585 bucks.. n somehow drifted away. hahah.

i'm so sleepy. slept at 4.30am n woke up at 7.40am. =.=

it's winter already.. getting so cold. now it's only 5.19pm.. but the sky's quite dark already. 10 more mins.. i'll have to go to the printing shop to collect my stuff. hope they bind nicely.. i don't wanna waste anymore money -.- hahahah

btw, submission deadlines are next week. I'm gonna try to get everything done n printed by monday. then the rest of days i'll start revising for my exams. hope everything goes well. i'm so afraid i might forget to do certain stuff that's required in the brief. wish me luck!

Suay suay week

Don't laugh at me. Don't say I'm stupid ok.. Though I know I'm -.- hahahah.

For the first time in my 20-turning-21 years of life, I got CONNED. Guess how much? 585 bucks! Yes.. 585!! not 5.85 or 58.50.

Story goes like this.

I received an email from the so-called 'Commonwealth Bank'.. telling me to update my information. I thought it's real. So I just do as I was told.

I don't know what got over me. Maybe my brain got drowned in my floods of projects. Call me gullible, call me dumb. Why wasn't I clear-headed enough to think that the bank should have all my particulars.. including my pin no, card no etc. STUPID!!!!!

And then, a few days later, I realized that my bank account was locked. I thought it was my own mistake.. like keying in the wrong password in ibanking too many times or whatever. so I didn't call up the bank immediately. Until today, I called them and they told me i only have like 30 bucks in my bank =.= HAHAHA. Cos few days ago, there was a transaction from overseas.. and they withdrew 585 bucks! Oh my.. I'm so dumb!!

They are gonna issue me a new card. And the bank personnel helped to report this fraud case to the bank. After they've checked everything, they might return me my money next month. But.. not confirm.

I think I'll just treat the money as gone. So that even if the bank didnt return me, I won't get too upset.

The lucky thing is.. I only have 600 in my bank.. imagine if I have thousands.. I might just knock my head on the wall. Hahaha.

To think that i was so calm just now.. I didn't even have much reaction when I heard the bad news.

Well, It's my own money anyway.. cos the other time, I brought 600 from my own savings here to Aussie. N now.. gone hahaha. Hopefully, the person who has taken the money.. won't use it for illegal stuff. Please use it well... Not that I am willing to give u my money, but since I can't get it back from you.. so.. that's the most I can ask for.

so much work to do. everyday i find myself doing nothing but projs.
and now i'm on schedule.. haha. cos i set a timetable for myself, i followed it closely n did my work dilligently. so now.. i've got most of the work done. so happy.. hahah.

well.. i'm just worried about my business modules. exams are coming.. i'm so unprepared. n our group assignment.. i dunno how it'll go, gotta hand in by fri. sigh.

btw, regarding 'ai jiu zai next door'epi.. i've got no time to update.. wait till my hols when i've more time. or if u desperately wanna know, just ask me online. hahah..

today's typography class went quite well.. the feedback i've gotten was better than what i've expected. at least something good for a change..

i havent been sleeping well for days. body clock's so screwed up. sleep after 3 am everyday, regardless of what time i have to wake up the next day. not that i dun wanna sleep.. just that i cant make myself sleep. maybe cos of stress. lol. but i'm still surviving!! thanks to all those who chatted with me online.. made me happy for sometime n gave me more motivation to do work!! hahaha. at least i know i'm not alone. hahaha. n also, special thanks to tian!! i've been bugging her so many times online, asking her for help in accounting. n she always tries her best to help me. I still have that very bad feeling about microecons essay. aiyoo..

btw, i just saw my accounting test 2 marks online. quite glad i didnt fail!! i got 11/15! hope the lecturer didnt key in wrong marks though.. cos now, i'm happy! I thought I might fail. Cos i didnt really understand cashflows and stuff. So hard!!

Honestly, even now, I still have no confidence in accounting. the group assignment scares me, really.. so what if i got quite high marks for tests (only mini tests anyway..) ? it doesnt mean anything!! cos i don't even know how to do the group assignment!! N i'm sure the exams will look so much like this group assignment!!

N for my microecons, I always thought I know my stuff well.. just cos i spent more time on it. But i'm so damn wrong. ironically, i scored better for my accounting compared to microecons. oh my.. scary.. exams are scaring me!! I need to start revision as soon as I submit my design projs!!.. Gotta study real hard for both business modules!!

Btw, I realize I have a very bad habit of judging a person by the first impression he/she gave me. I should kick off this habit.. I'm so shallow. Lol. Next time i must tell myself not to do this anymore, i need to know ppl more in depth before judging. In fact, I'm in no position to judge others anyway.
Why suddenly i say that? Cos.. now I feel that my 2 indo friends aren't that bad, just xiaomeimeis i would say. Now i feel like they r quite nice. it's like.. they'll feel happy for me if i do well or things like that. I think I'm the evil person.. not them.

hahaha. well, actually i would suggest that u all don't believe what i say 1st. Cos my opinions of ppl always change.. n it really depends on my mood. lol. i'm a gemini u see.. v fickle-minded..!! Haha.

No zest to do work again. Feeling lazy, sleepy and hungry all the time..Guess it's cos of the cold weather.

Had an essay writing test for microecons in class just now. Erm. I think I read the question wrongly =.-.. hope I can pass. N tomorrow.. I think we're getting back our marks for accounting test 2. Sigh. I hope I won't fail badly. Really.. I think I'm so dead for business modules. =.o Haiz. And my communication design strategy.. I must get started!!

Hols is coming. Quite excited. But I still have winter course for about a month i think. There are tonnes of stuff I wanna do/buy!!

I wanna sing k! I wanna travel to taiwan or sydney or new zealand! I feel like getting myself a tv for my room. I havent been watching tv for months? But I don't know where to put it. It's not like my room is big you see. I also thought of working part-time to earn some cash! But I don't really like to work.. I only want money! Hahaha. I wanna shop for more clothes, bags, shoes etc. Hahaha. I wanna go to st kilda's or brighton beach, lie down and eat strawberry tart, rockyroad or churros. Haha. I wanna go to the northern parts of melb and take pics with my polaroid. I wanna watch lots and lots of movies!! I wanna go to Crown to play jackpot. lol. I wanna search for authentic sg food in melb! I wanna learn how to make pies and yummy dishes from Quinee. I even thought of buying a puppy.. But I think when school starts, I won't have time to look after it and might dump it at one corner. Haha. So better not!! I wanna go snowboarding during winter!! Hahaha... I can go on and on ..... lol

Btw, saw shuai ge F today.. after like 2 months. finally found another one to add onto my collection of shuai ge eye-candies. Lol. I think this is the shuaiest of all I've seen so far. Even my classmates went gaga over him. But we think he looks diagonal (not straight I mean). He's working at one of the salons near our school. Haha..

I was in Helen's room from 9 pm till now (1 am)..

Cos Bill kept going into her room. Lol. Then she didnt want me to leave the room.. Hahah.

Helen's trying so hard to avoid him. She didnt come home straight after school, she went to library to slack till evening time. lol. So 可怜.

Anyway, Bill brought one of his good friends to our house to see Helen. -.-"

When I was in the room.. he said some mushy stuff to helen. I forgot what he said though.. but even I had goosebumps.. Then I said softly "ahhh..." and raised my shoulders, looked at helen and said "Good luck!"

And Helen was so funny. She showed Bill the photo of her and her bf.. Then Bill asked her why she showed him that.. and said that he didnt want to see it. LOL. And I even added a comment saying that her bf's quite gd looking in that photo. Hahaha

Helen went to dig out some of the letters her girl friends wrote to her. And I told her to read to me.. cos I wanna hear. What her girl friend wrote was kinda mushy. Bill was still in the room btw.

I asked "why your girlfriend wrote mushy stuff to you?"

Then she said, "it's ok.. anyway it's a girl."

And I added "ya.. at least is a girl. If a guy write such thing quite er xin."

She said " a guy writes such thing is normal"..

And I said "Yes.. if a guy you like, write you such stuff.. is sweet.. but if a guy you don't like, write you this.. then is er xin."..

Then Helen replied "Yes" and smiled at me. Hahaha. 话中有话!!

38 婆 is back with latest updates on 愛就宅 next door!!

The other day.. after Helen received the flowers from Bill, he texted her and asked if he has chance. Then Helen told him NO and don't think too much. Then he said it's because there isn't any chance, which makes him wanna go on chasing after her. Hahah.

And today, Bill called her early in the morning to ask if she was hungry, he could buy or cook her food. Haha. So sweet ah. But Helen was still sleeping, and she told him she wasn't hungry and she needed sleep more than anything.

In the afternoon, when Helen was chatting with me in the kitchen, she received a text message from Bill - "宝贝, 我想你了 ". N she went like 'Omg. I'm having goosebumps all over now". Then she asked me what to do with him.. I told her to reply him asking why he said that. And if he gave her an honest answer about how he felt.. she can use that opportunity to tell him her true feelings, that she doesn't like him or things like that.

So she replied him "想我干嘛?"

After awhile he texted " 想一个人是踏实的, 因为你可爱, 把我的心填满了"

Then Helen didn't feel like replying anymore. Now Helen feels like avoiding him already, too afraid of him. LOL. But we're all living under the same roof.. very hard to avoid la. Hahah.

And just now.. she kept asking me what time he would reach home.. cos she didn't wanna bump into him. Then I told her to ask for his school's time-table. Then Helen said "no way! later he thought I'm showing concern for him'. Then I laughed and said "no.. just tell him that '因为你回来所以我想出门了" hahaha. so mean ah.

In the last entry, I talked about how we eventually found out that it was Bill who gave Helen the bouquet of roses...

Well.. Helen was so paiseh that her cheeks turned red.. but she tried to act normal. Lol.
In the end, Vic and Quinee knew about it too. And all of us got so excited!! Bill was kinda embarrassed, he went back to his room. Then I went to Helen's room to discuss with her why Bill suddenly give her flowers. After awhile, Bill msn-ed her, telling her that the flowers is meant for mother's day.. and wished her happy mama's day. Haha. Bill asked her how she felt when receiving the flowers.. and Helen replied 'like a son giving me flowers..' Then Bill told her to throw away the flowers, cos he doesn't need another mum, he has his own mum.. Wahhh.

Btw, both of them have bf and gf .. ermm..
but don't think helen likes bill?? ..

Anyway, the day after that incident.. everything went back to normal. .

Well.. it's still too early to tell. LOL..

I can't hold it any longer..

HAHAHAHAHA..

So exciting. Very soon.. there'll be 3 couples in my house.

.. obviously nothing to do with me. Lol.

Give you a little background of the people in my house. There are 7 people.. Vic, Quinee (vic's gf), David (our new housemate) and his gf, Bill, Helen and me.

So as you can see.. only 3 singles. If there's nothing to do with me.. means there's something between the other 2 .. Haha.

Since many weeks ago, I already sensed something between Bill and Helen... quite ambiguous. N I kinda made fun of them.. Then they said that I'm still a kid, anyhow spout nonsense. Well.. I admit I'm childish la.. But.. looking at what happened today.. seems like my judgement is right eh. Lol.

I'm telling u all this.. cos.. I'm excited for them. And anyway, you all dont know them.. so it's ok. LOL.

Well.. Let me backtrack to 2-3 weeks ago..
Helen, Nansen (helen's bro), Bill and me went to Crown to watch 17 again. N yes, Zac efron is very shuai. Hahaha.

We came back.. played monopoly with Vic and Quinee. There were 5 of us. only 4 chairs. So Bill was left standing.. Then Vic asked if he want to share the seat with him.. N Bill said it's ok, he can stand. After awhile, Helen came and sat down. She saw Bill standing, so being kind, she asked if Bill wanna share seat with her.. And Bill said 'ok!' Then I said 'ehhh???' very loudly. Hahaha.

And what happened today??

The door bell rang.. I went to open the door. Saw a caucasian woman holding onto a bouquet of roses. She said it was for helen. But Helen wasn't home at that time. So I brought it in.. showed it to Quinee.. and said to her ' who do you think it's from?' and Quinee said ' must be from her bf.. if not, who else?' And I passed a casual remark "Bill lor..".. And she replied "Oh ya.. hahah"

When Helen and her bro came back. They were surprised to see the roses (10 pink and 1 white roses). I came out from my room.. and told Helen about the flowers. I was curious, so I asked who gave it to her.. But she said she had no idea. Cos there was no name on the card. So I said.. "maybe it's from Bill".. But we weren't sure.. cos it might be her friends. So after that she went to work, still having no clue who the mystery person is.

At night, when she came home. I went to her room to get chocolates.. And Bill came in. Then Helen went to take a shower.. I wanted to test Bill.. so I said " hey Bill, you see.. Helen got flowers!" N without hesitation.. He said "it's from me!". I didnt expect him to admit it so quickly. Then I tried to ask him why.. He didnt really answered me.

When Helen came out from the bathroom, I asked Helen (thinking that she knew the flowers were from Bill), "Why Bill give you flowers?".. Then, she said "What? You mean those were from him?" HAHA..

Accounting test 2 is over.
It's tough..like usual. But I hope the lecturer will be lenient with his marking again.. Hahaha. I hope i can pass.. erm.. well? But anyway, I'm 50/50 prepared to fail. Cos I don't think I know my stuff very well.. Let's say, if i fail, hopefully I won't get too dishearten and study extra harder for the final exam.

So after the test and lecture, I went to RMIT swanstons library. I was influenced by effie.. I borrowed so many books!! Now I have 6 books from swinburne, 6 books from RMIT. Haha. I really think RMIT has a much larger collection of design books. I was there for an hour. Then I went for lunch.. packed some food to store at home (for tomorrow n the day after.) I carried so many stuff..6 books, food, my 500g + bag (not that i actually weigh it..but i think my bag is always heavy for some reason).

Sem 1 is gonna end soon. 4 more weeks to projects deadlines, 6 more weeks to exams!! I gotta jiayou jiayou!!!!

I think it's quite true for me..

My choices are: Attend to the baby, open the door, answer the phone call, collect the clothes and lastly, fix the tap.

Initially I kinda struggled with first two options.. not sure if i should attend to the baby or open the door first. hahah. But eventually I decided on attending to the baby. Lol.

in the end .. i didnt meet effie today. cos her training ended early. and when she called me, i was still sleeping haha. so meet next time ba.

my parents called me again. haha. asked me what i want for my 21st birthday. lol. i wanted to tell them i wanna go taiwan for hols. but didnt dare to. hahaha.

dont know why.. almost everytime they call me, i feel like crying. esp when they show concern.. omg. then i find myself trying to suppress my emotions when talking to them on the phone, so that they wont hear me sob. hahah. i feel that they show more concern towards me when i am away compared to when i was in sg. i guess it's just a natural reaction ba.

i hope i wont procrastinate today. haha. i need to do work!!

expectations

i like every fridays.. only day of the week for me to really relax and not think about work.
i can take long long naps. hahaha.

my body clock kinda screwed up these days.
i cant make myself sleep at night. i have to resort to counting sheeps, dogs etc. lol.
so when i get home, i'll tend to take afternoon naps.. which makes it even harder for me to sleep at night.

maybe cos of stress? ermm. perhaps?
actually, i don't think work is unmanageable at this point of time.. but of course, for the coming weeks, i reckon it might be.

well, i think i've been giving myself lots of stress. it's more like self expectation n stuff. though i've already kinda lowered my originally high expectation.. but still, expectations are expectations.. you can't lower them down any further to the point where your expectations are compromising your standards. but instead, it should be the other way round.. you should try to pull up your standards to reach your expectations.

people often says, aim for the sky, and you'll fall on the tree top.. aim for the tree top and you'll fall onto the ground. i don't wanna fall onto the ground. so now though my expectation aint at the sky level.. but it should be at the birds flying level. hahahahhaha..crapping la.

been watching lotsa youtube videos on interviews with famous people in the asian entertainment industry. it's really true that success doesn't come easily. alot of sacrifices have to be made. and from these interviews, i realize that i'm really very fortunate already.. cos not everyone grow up in a good environment. so they have to put in extra effort to achieve certain things in life. but as for me, i've a considerably good environment where my parents can afford to send me overseas to study...i should learn to be grateful to them and cherish this opportunity. therefore, i gotta study real hard!!

meeting effie later. cos she has applied for a part-time job at a bakery. will be going through training at box hill. near my house.. so gonna meet her for lunch hahaha.
