Was blog-hopping.. and came across a meaningful statement from yuli's blog.

How true. We should stop brooding over the past unhappy issues and cherish what we have now.

Emotions and feelings are unexplicable. Sometimes, you get showers of love and joy. At times, you experience a downpour of distress and sadness. They're always at the extreme ends, whereas confusion or dilemma lies in the middle.

So, we should all start to look on the bright side of life!! Keep smiling!! :) Here's something to cheer you up.. my new creation: LOVETOFU! Very sketchy though.. cos doodling during lessons =X Haha. But finally break away from mushrooms. Realise something? All food!! Lol.

DFO!!!

Today Effie and I went shopping at DFO (Direct Factory Outlets). This is one efficient method to relieve stress!! Hahaha.

Omg.. I love DFO! Tonnes of apparel sales!! I bought 2 cardigans & a top from cotton on, a shirt from jayjays.. all for only 40bucks!! Which means 10 bucks each!! Crazy discounts!

I saw a pair of tommy hilfiger's denim shoes. So nice! Half price.. only 40+ bucks! But don't have my size =.- I need to go elsewhere to find it!!

The rest of the coming days, I'll have to stay home to study and do projects. No more shopping/hang-outs etc. It's just for 2 weeks, after that, there'll be a 1-week semester break!! Yeah!! Hahah.

Sigh.
The feedbacks I got from my first concept proposals weren't good. And it seemed like everyone else's doing fine, except me.

I think my self-confidence's going downhill. I'm so afraid that my concepts won't turn out good. I'm running out of ideas. I guess it will be pathetic to know that the amount of time I spend on a project somehow doesn't reflect on my grades. I don't want that to happen.. but well, I'll never know till the day I get my results right?

It's hard to get things done when one's demoralised. Tell me how to tear down those walls of fear and self-doubt. Now I just feel that all my ideas are craps.

Haiz.. I'm scared.

I'm acting queer these days. Even my housemate kept asking me why I became so quiet. Well, I think I'm just stressed out. I really wonder how I manage to cope with so many modules in poly.. But now that I have only 4 modules, why do I still find it so tough?

And suddenly, I don't find those shuai ges shuai anymore. Am I out of my mind or down with depression? ...........

Chocolates are like some kinda drugs to me. They're so addictive. Once I start eating, I'll crave for more. Lol. No wonder fat la =.= Haiz. I'm not gonna care about that for now.. I need sugar to generate my brain cells and squeeze out my brain juices. Hahah. Cos I'm very retarded.. always takes me a long time to fully understand stuff in classes.

Microeconomics and accounting tests next week. Omg. So fast. I dunno why.. but most of the time, when lecturers are explaining stuff.. my mind will go on autopilot.
Alot of self-revision need to be done I guess. If not, I really dunno how I'm gonna complete the test papers. Wish me luck k? Erm.. no, meanwhile just 'jiayou' for me.. hahah. Thanks in adv! :)

ARGHHH

The unstable internet connection's getting on my nerves. Argh!
It's so annoying cos when I switch on my laptop, I expect that it's automatically connected.. but when it's not, I need to spend hours and minutes trying to fix the router. It's so time-consuming! N it's so much worse when I don't even have much time for myself!

And today I feel like I just got a fine & stepped on a shit & blah blah blah.. anything bad that you can think of. It's just a stupid crappy feeling that I get whenever I feel stress out or if I don't get something done the way I wanted. Sometimes I just hope that I can be cool about stuff, and stop caring so much about what others may think. I reckon I spend more time thinking of what others are thinking, than what I'm actually thinking.. you get what I mean?

Week 5, week 6 - deadlines, tests.. I don't even know how I'll be able to cope. I know eventually I'll get it done. But.. quality wise.. erm.. doubtful.

Typography assignment makes me go nuts! Using InDesign to do up an exact existing copy of a particular publication.. OMG. PRECISION. ACCURACY. Argh. TEDIOUS! I spent days doing it. Still don't fit exactly! N what's worse is, I don't have a lightbox!! I keep holding my paper high up below my lamp, squinting my eyes to look at the details =.- I need to build a lightbox soon!

Part 1: I was the first to arrive at my Communication Design Strategy Class. You know who stepped into class next? Shuai ge D. Lol. Then, for like 5-10 mins, only me and him in the classroom. But, I chose to ignore him and act busy -.-

Part 2:

I went for Microecons lecture. But Shuai ge B didnt attend that lecture. I was so sian. Lol. But guess what?? Haha. OMG. He sat beside me in tutorial class! But again, I chose to ignore him and did my own work -.-

2 opportunities just flew past. I'm DUMB right. I should have tried talking to them.

Haha. But.. today, I was really sleepy and tired, no energy to do anything out of the norm.

Ok. Excuse me for my boy-craziness. LOL. Cos.. seriously, other than this, there ain't anymore interesting stuff that I can share..Cos I have no friends!! Lol. Ok. Actually yes, I have friends.. But they are just stage 1 friends.I want Stage 3,4,5 friends!!

Btw, those shuai ges are just eye-candies la. Nothing more than that. Though I don't mind making friends with them. Hahaha.

Now I know, reading textbook helps.
At first, when I saw my microeconomics assignments questions. I didn't even have the slightest clue on how to go about answering them. But after reading 2 chapters, I kinda know what to write. Though I don't know if I've got the answers correct or not. Haha.

So now I am glad.. Cos I've finished my microecons assignment which is due on thurs! Lol.

Oh ya, I just realized I'm in my 3rd or final year in design, 1st year in business. Haha. After 2 weeks, 才进入状况! Lol. All the while I thought I'm in 2nd year in design, and keep telling ppl that. No wonder my communication design strategy classmates told me that they are in their 3rd or 4th year. Hahah. I'm damn sotong.

I tried killing myself by eating this with a sore throat. Hahaha. But it's always like that, the more you know you can't eat something, the more you will crave for it. Lol. But it's nice. Haha. Actually on top of this, I ate a chocolate cookie. Omg.. All the carbs intake!! Fattening!! Lol. Dunno y, I keep eating.. maybe cos of the weather.

I say, shakes, not earthquake.. cos it wasn't that extreme.
I was in my room, and the only one at home. I thought I was gonna die here. Haha. Been thinking too much la.
Basically, everything was shaking. Only lasted for seconds though.

8.30 am lecture tomorrow. Gotta wake up at 6.45am. Gonna be cold. I don't like, cos it'll make me very reluctant to leave my cosy & warm bed. Haha.

Ok. It's quite cold now. I can't imagine what winter will be like. Sigh.

Sovereign Hill

Effie and I had so much fun at Sovereign Hill!!

Even though I am not feeling well and the weather kinda sucked, cos it was raining and all muddy. My white bottom had splashes of mud stains, but I went to the washroom to wash it away. And there was also subway disaster. The meatballs sandwiches we bought decided to go on strike, all its fillings came out and it was so messy! So we kept everything into the plastic bag and ate the subway sandwiches idp provided instead.

Sounds like a really bad start eh. But wait.. better stuff always come at the end.

Cos we like the place very much!! We took lotsa pics and polaroid pics too!! Polaroid pics turn out great, because the surroundings are nice, you see...

These cowboys were so amazed by the polaroid pics, so we took 2 shots, and gave them one. They were so happy.. they were like 'That was so cool!'

We even paid 30 bucks to try the cosplay thingy. But the pic didnt turn out as good compared to our polaroid ones. But it's okay, we can keep it as sovenir.

Towards the end of our trip, we got to know a few taiwanese ppl. They're very friendly. And we went on to talk about random things. I asked them what's the meaning of '机车' and they explained to me. Haha. So now, I finally know.

Then, there was this korean guy whom I thought was a thai at first. Then, that taiwanese guy said "他不像韩国人吗?他不就有 一副泡菜脸?"... or something like that, I can't really remember the exact words though, cos I was laughing. The korean was confused. Then we tried to explain to him, and I nearly got that taiwanese guy into trouble.. cos I mentioned 'kimchi'.. then, the korean guy was like "I look like kimchi??'".. LOL. Immediately, that taiwanese guy corrected himself "No.. I meant I like kimchi, so you're like kimchi to me.." Hahaha. That was hilarious! Well, they are all friends, so they were just playing around.

Oh ya, they also tried to tell that korean guy what '机车' means. And that taiwanese guy literally translated it to 'You are very motorbike!' The korean guy was like "huh?" Hahaha!!! They're so funny!!!

Anyway, it was nice to know ppl from different countries.. I learnt alot from them! Haha.I want to visit more places!! And will definitely take more polaroid pics before my films expire!!! Haha.

It's funny how my mum always calls and asks me the same question "did you cry?", "do you miss home?", "you know how to cook for yourself?" .. hahaha. I think she's really surprised that I don't really miss home that much. I told her I kinda miss her cooking though. Haha. Then, she went like "Told you to learn from me already.." Haha. Haha. Today me and my housemates, Helen, Bill and Vic went to a neighbourhood primary school's basketball field to play! Haha.

I like that place. It's quite nice. Looks like that kinda setting you may see in those typical taiwanese drama serials. Haha.

So yup, they were playing basketball.

Helen and I were simply chatting away.

I didn't bring my camera along. So I used my handphone's camera to take random shots. Lol. Resolution isn't that good la.

After that, we came home, chit-chatted, watched funny videos and showed each other shuai ges and mei nus in facebook n 校内 (china's fb-like thingy).

Hahah. My housemates are gradually becoming my gd friends soon. It's so nice. Lol

Fun!

Yesterday I thought I was gonna finish my homework. But my housemates asked if I would like to tag along with them to the city to do some shopping. I thought they were going for only awhile, and so I agreed. We went to the city, they bought clothes, and they spent so much on those stuff! Like over 200-400 bucks? Woah. I don't think I'll ever spend that much on a few pieces of clothes.

Then, we took no.86 tram to somewhere.. I think it's around kerr st or sth, I don't quite remember. There was like a whole elongated stretch of shops, selling nike, adidas, puma, roxy, ripcurl etc. at a discounted rate. Omg. It was so awesome! I must go there again!! Cos I didnt get anything yesterday. Haha. After that, Vic's friend, Zee came. We took the tram back to the city.

Zee was so funny. We were crossing the road. Then, all of a sudden he quickened his pace, dragging Vic along and tried to hide somewhere. Haha. Bill and I were so confused. Then, we found out that his ex gf was standing right behind us, and he wanted to avoid her. Hahah.

We went to a szechuan restaurant in chinatown to have dinner. The food were delicious, though abit oily.

After that, Zee suggested going to the casino at Crown Hotel. And so we went there together. But I didnt play. I just watched them play. After they lost some money, we headed home. Haha.

I did homework till 2+am. Lol. Havent finish! But I think I have only 20% left.

Well, overall, it was fun hanging out with them!! Lol.

Eh

I thought i was gonna be late this morning. I left the house on time, reached the station like 2 mins earlier. But.. Wait. How come the train was scheduled to arrive at 7.47 am instead of 7.37 am?? Omg. I felt pretty antsy. Cos I only had an hour lecture from 8.30am to 9.30am. Furthermore, I had no idea how I was gonna get there on time if I missed the 8.15am sandringham train. I even contemplated giving it a miss. Fortunately, the train reached richmond at 8.13am. Lol. I managed to catch the 8.15am train!! Phew..

The lecture was only half an hour -.- N today's suppose to be labour day, a public hol. But I still have class =.-

After the short lecture, I headed straight home. While on the train, a random guy came and talked to me. He tried to speak mandarin, then went on to talk about other stuff like which restaurants serve good food, which countries he had stepped foot on, how he saw osama in 2003 in msia ? etc.. he even told me about his ex gf. Omg. It was kinda scary. I was trying my best not to reveal anything about myself, but yet being polite at the same time. Luckily, he was going to ringwood.. not box hill.

I've been stuck in the 4 walls of my bedroom the entire day and doing my work so damn slowly. Omg. 4 publication.. I think I only completed 1 -.- Nvm.. I still have 2 more days.

I went to box hill library just now..wanted to colour copy some more stuff for my project. But the quality turned out to be so lousy.. and I wasted almost 4 bucks on it! Argh. So irritated!

I have been v moody these 2 days. Dunno why.. maybe cos of stress! ARGHH..

Was telling nic that I might be able to make many new friends here, but perhaps not many good friends. Jessica n joey had most of their classes together.. so naturally, they became really close friends, plus they are both indos, have common interests n stuff. So well, I felt kinda left out at times -.- It's ok la. I just need more time to look for my own friends.

Shuai ge B is in my lecture and tutorial classes! Hahah.. eye candy! I told Bill about it.. (actually, I told almost everyone about it) , then he replied 'haha. ni you dong li le' lol..

The other time, Vic told me that there was this new guy who rented a room from him, but hadn't been moving in despite paying the rent. I was so curious about his looks. Cos I heard that he's an ABC. But when he finally came.. ermm.. I told Vic and Bill that I was disappointed. Hahaha. I'm so mean! Then, they say next time round, gotta take pics of 'tenants-to-be' and show them to me before allowing them to stay! Hahaha. My housemates are so funny..

Yesterday, today!

Effie and I will be going to Sovereign Hill next sat! We've got a student rate through idp, just 25 bucks, including food!! Usual price is over a hundred bucks! Haha. I'm excited!

Yesterday we met at southern cross and headed to idp office at lonsdale to register for the Sovereign Hill trip. After that, effie brought me to Myer to shop around. And then, we took a train and bus to lilydale campus.. Cos effie wanted to have a look. Finally, we went to boxhill to have our dinner at a chinese restaurant and effie came to my place to chill again.

That's smelly tofu! What we've eaten wasn't very smelly. I find it alright, moderately smelly. haha.The weather was really erratic. Sunny and relatively windy in the afternoon. And at night, when effie was going home.. it was super windy and raining at the same time. The wind almost blew my umbrella away!

By the time we reached the station, it was pitch dark..and we realized that there was a black-out in that whole area. It was scary even though I had my small handy torchlight with me. In the end, effie decided to stay over at my place! Haha. And so we walked back again.. It was quite fun actually! Cos we were crazy enough to walk back and forth the same route under that kinda weather conditions. Haha. We were drenched by the time we got back to my place!

We woke up very early today. Cos effie needed to go home to get her stuff before heading to school. We met with Tim for an hour. Then, effie and I went to have our sushi lunch. After that, I went home and effie went for class. I slept for about 45 mins, then I took the train back to school to attend my typography class. It was only the first lesson, but we were already given an assignment that is due next wed. That's fast! Haha.

I kinda like the lecturer, Emma, though. She's so nice and helpful, always trying her best to clear all our doubts :)
